"United Cerebral Palsy has provided services to local youth and adults with disabilities since 1969. We are committed to providing the best service to the men and women in our residential, employment and all of our programs. Your contribution is instrumental in maintaining that high level of service for our participants. Again, we thank you for your support and helping us succeed in our mission."

"Hooked on Smiles is such a blessing to me. When you are disabled you're limited in what you can do and your life revolves around doctors and struggling with what you can't do. It's a project to go anywhere and then uncomfortable when you get there. I know people don't mean to be rude, to stare or talk over you. It's as if they think you stopped hearing, thinking, speaking and feeling. Hooked on Smiles gives us a place where we are treated with respect and dignity. A time to relax and just have fun. I don't know what I would do without the special times they provide. May God bless each of you."

"As a mother of a special needs child, I am greatly appreciative of Hooked on Smiles. It is a wonderful organization that sponsors exciting events that my disabled child would otherwise not experience. The staff are loving and caring people who devote their time and take great pride in making sure that everyone, no matter what the disability, has a great time! We need more people like this in our community!"

"I am a mother of a handicapped adult. There is an organization called Hooked on Smiles. At least once a month, they do something for the disabled community. There is no age barrier. This past weekend, we had Christmas in July at the Piggotte Center. It was a tearjerker. Santa Claus came and everyone got free food and a hat. The volunteers did not receive the recognition they really need. It was wonderful. They have boat rides and give away tickets to the theater. Just seeing the faces on these adults, they are not different. They all have a disability, but no one looked at them. I cannot thank Hooked on Smiles and the volunteers enough. I hope they get many more. A lot of their stuff is donated and they work their butts off to make people smile. To see these children and adults dancing and believing in Santa Claus -- they may be 50 years old, but it is beautiful."

"Thank you so much for a wonderful time this past Saturday. I don't think you could know how much this means to us families who face social rejection. It is so hard to get out and relax and be accepted, and on top of it all be blessed with such wonderful volunteers who express such love for all individuals. God will truly bless and reward you all and if you happen to make it to glory I am sure your crowns will have many jewels. God bless you all."

"I can't give 'Hooked on Smiles' enough praise and gratitude for all they do for people with disabilities. The dance parties, movies, the Brevard Zoo and the river boat cruises have been the highlights of most of my clients' lives. I am a med-waiver provider giving individualized training while out in the community. Hooked on Smiles affords my clients opportunities to experience some of life's pleasures that may otherwise elude them. You're all ANGELS including Dick Stork. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You!"

"The Kiwanis Club is always interested in helping others involved with children, especially when they do such a great job of helping themselves, as Hooked on Smiles has. Your volunteers' commitment and caring about those you serve is truly amazing. What's interesting is that their smiles MAKE YOU smile. Keep up the great work!"

"It has been a pleasure working with Hooked on Smiles to provide boat rides for the disabled and their families. Without this wonderful partnership, many of the participants would not experience the wonder and joys of recreational boating. It is exciting to be a part of something so special."

"Thank you for letting us share in the 'Hooked on Smiles' experience. The joy that you bring to people with disabilities is both heartwarming and touching. Volunteering our services and sponsorship support has been very special to us. We only wish that we lived closer and could volunteer more often to join in the fun."

"This is the fifth summer that members of the Volusia County Multiple Sclerosis Foundation Support Group have sailed with Hooked on Smiles on the river cruise. Each year we wait with great anticipation for this wonderful trip. A cruise on the Halifax River provides a welcome respite from the challenges of life with a disability. At least for a short time, as we travel up and down the river, we can forget about our cares and enjoy the beauty and peacefulness of the great outdoors in Florida. Thanks for making us feel so connected and special."
